We initially paid our dues as professional musicians for a number of years. Our love and understanding of music nurtured a love of audio, and a desire to create the best musical experience possible, in the home environment.

Harold has a degree in Electrical Engineering, is a registered Professional Engineer, and a registered Class A Master Electrician. He has spent time designing electronic circuits and custom integrated circuits for Honeywell, Sandia National Labs, and several other companies, for use in commercial products, as well as military weapons and aircraft.

Allen is a system engineer at Sandia National Laboratory, and has worked in the computer industry with both hardware and software, for the last 16 years.

All of this simply means that we understand the technologies associated with today's "high-tech" audio and video. We can help you separate the hype and propaganda from what is really important.

Our personal listening tastes are on opposite ends of the scale. Harold spends his personal listening time primarily with tube equipment, low powered amplifiers, and efficient speakers. His personal passion is for Single Ended Triodes.

Allen spends his personal listening time primarily with tube and solid state equipment, higher powered amplifiers, and normal efficiency speakers. However, we both have an appreciation and understanding of the other equipment, and we both also enjoy video. Thus, we can help navigate you to either end of the scale, or somewhere in the middle!

We will work with you initially to understand your needs, to recommend the proper solutions, and to help you understand the tradeoffs, i.e., "Should I spend more money on a better preamp, or better cables?" We will deliver and set up your equipment, help you "tweak it in", work with you on addressing the acoustics of your room, or whatever else is required to take you as far as you want to go in creating the ultimate musical illusion in your home. After the sale, we are available to continue to help you refine or expand your system, and to ultimately take you to the next level, when you are ready.
